Other Programs

Alongside our normal curriculum runs a range of other activities as they supplement the main classroom program. SPH also aim to support our students in every way through their time in our schools. A range of student support services is offered to ensure their educational journey is a positive and enjoyable one.

Co-Curriculars

Co-curricular refers to activities, programs, and learning experiences that complement with what students are learning in school. Co-curricular activities are typically, but not always, defined by their separation from academic courses. For example, they are un-graded, they do not allow students to earn academic credit, they may take place outside of school or after regular school hours, and they may be operated by outside organizations. A few examples of common educational opportunities that may be considered co-curricular in our school include student newspapers, musical performances, art shows, mock trials, debate competitions, and mathematics, robotics, and engineering teams and contests.

Contact individual campus sites for more information regarding the availability of the co-curricular program.

Student Support Services

The term Student Support Services may refer to a wide variety of instructional methods, educational services, or school resources provided to students in the effort to help them accelerate their learning progress, catch up with their peers, meet learning standards, or generally succeed in school. Student support encompasses a broad array of educational strategies, including tutoring sessions, supplemental courses, summer learning experiences, after-school programs, teacher advisors, and volunteer mentors, as well as alternative ways of grouping, counseling, and instructing students. Academic support may be provided to individual students, specific student populations or all students in a school.
