SPH Sentul City Class of 2018 IB Diploma Program Results

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights….” (James 1:17)

As a school that promotes Christian values, we believe that every good thing we receive come from God’s grace, including any good academic results. We are grateful that God granted our students with knowledge, wisdom, tenacity and perseverance as they gone through the rigorous IB Diploma Program for the past 2 years. Our students had done well this year and we thank God for the results. This year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP) results are here:

  1. This year’s highest score is 41 out of 45
  2. 89% of our students achieved the Diploma.
  3. Our average Diploma score is 30, above the world average (29/45)

The IB DP is a two-year program for Grade 11-12 students that provides an internationally accepted qualification into higher education. It is a highly reputable program, recognized by many universities worldwide, well-known as one of the most rigorous programs for students. It requires  hard work in all aspects of students’ lives, ranging from academic knowledge to epistemology to extracurricular activities.

To be awarded an IB diploma, students must successfully pass their subject examinations and fulfill three core requirements: the Extended Essay (EE), the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, and the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) activities.

As one of the prominent IB schools in Indonesia, the results of our students have been steadily increasing over the years.

We are consistent in implementing a holistic approach towards education by providing an excellent academic program, and also by encouraging our students to engage in activities, such as Student Council, Service Learning, Arts, Music, and various sports. Students learn how to balance academics and  non-academic activities, which we believe lays a strong foundation for their future.

We thank God that he continues to use our school to maximize the potential of many young people through our education here at SPH.
