Ms. Abby Karls is studying in Wheaton College to become a Math & Secondary School Teacher, but she has many experiences in with children in kindergarten and primary school ages. Also an experienced babysitter, she was previously an Awana leader and preschool camp counsellor. An enthusiastic and energecti teacher, she will engage with students effectively and foster an encouraging and welcoming learning environment.

With an impressive 11-year tenure at SPH, Pak Chris is currently leading the Grade 3-4 Year Level for the past two years while also sharing his expertise in Bahasa Indonesia. Armed with a Master’s in Early Years Education, his commitment lies in laying strong educational foundations for his students. Beyond academics, he strives to foster an inclusive learning environment that nurtures essential life skills. Excited to continue shaping young minds and contributing to the enriching SPH Summer Program, he’s dedicated to making every learning experience meaningful and impactful.

As Bu Melisa gears up for her ninth year at SPH LV, she’s bubbling with excitement! With a deep passion for early childhood education, she finds joy in witnessing the unique developmental journey of each child. Firmly believing in the inherent value of every individual, she sees her role as a guide in helping her students shine. Bu Melisa’s heart swells with pride as she watches her students achieve milestones, both academically and personally. Meet Ibu Sienna, a vibrant educator bursting with curiosity and spontaneity! She firmly believes that learning should be an exciting journey for students, where fun and engagement are key ingredients for success. Graduating from UPH International Teachers College with accreditation from Corban University, U.S., she majored in primary education and minored in theology. At SPH LV, her teaching journey has been diverse, ranging from Grade 7 Humanities to K1 Homeroom and Grade 4 Math. With three years of experience at SPH Summer under her belt, she’s all set to welcome students with a summer packed full of fun and meaningful activities.
