Unlock your creativity and join our Visual Arts & Design summer class taught by Anne Geijer from Wheaton College!
Under the guidance of experienced instructor Anne Geijer, students will:
- Unleash their artistic potential
- Engage in a variety of hands-on activities
- Experiment with different mediums, allowing them to discover their preferred artistic style
- Cultivate their unique artistic voice
Through individualized instruction and group critiques, students will learn foundational techniques, refine their craftsmanship, and gain confidence in expressing their creativity. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to study art history, analyze contemporary works, and draw inspiration from various cultural and artistic movements, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the visual arts.
By the end of the course, students will have created a diverse mini portfolio of artwork and developed the skills and confidence to pursue their artistic passions further.

About the Instructor
Anne Geijer / Wheaton College, U.S.
Ms. Anne Geijer’s childhood in an international Christian school in Thailand has imbued her with a unique perspective, sure to infuse vibrant color into this summer activity. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Secondary Education and Mathematics, she brings a wealth of experience in teaching and tutoring math and science subjects like algebra and geometry. Anne’s leadership extends to an arts summer camp in Thailand, where she fostered collaborative learning through mixed-media projects. Her adeptness in cross-cultural interaction is marked by sensitivity and care. A true high-achiever, Anne has consistently earned a place on Wheaton College’s Dean’s List throughout her academic journey and has been honored with a merit-based President’s Scholarship.
