About the Instructor
Dr. Lance Croy / Assistant Professor of Communication & Media Arts at
Dr. Lance Croy, a distinguished member of SAG/AFTRA, brings a wealth of performance experience to his role as Assistant Professor of Communications & Media Arts at Providence Christian College in Pasadena, California. With a passion for arts-based pedagogy, Lance’s research has taken him to esteemed platforms like the University of Michigan and the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. His scholarly contributions, including a peer-reviewed publication on Charles Spurgeon and a Ph.D. dissertation exploring House Church Leaders, showcase his dedication to academic excellence. Lance’s vibrant courses, ranging from Principles of Management to Visual Storytelling, reflect his commitment to nurturing creative talent within the entertainment industry. Alongside his academic pursuits, Lance enjoys family life with his wife Tara and their young son Zayvier in Pasadena.
