Meet Ibu Nedra Widjaja, a dedicated educator with a wealth of experience in teaching Indonesian as a Second and Foreign Language in the Middle Years and Diploma Programme at SPH. With a decade-long tenure at the school, Ibu Nedra has left an indelible mark on her students’ academic journeys. In addition to her teaching role, she has taken on various leadership positions, serving as a CAS Coordinator, EE Supervisor, and Student Council Supervisor. Beyond the classroom, Ibu Nedra is a passionate advocate for Indonesian culture preservation, showcased annually through traditional dancing shows. Her journey at SPH began in 2013 as a Kindy Assistant Teacher, evolving into teaching roles in the Middle Years Programme and eventually the Diploma Programme. Throughout her years at SPH, Ibu Nedra continues to inspire and empower her students, leaving a lasting impact on their academic and personal growth.

With a passion for math that knows no bounds, Pak Eri is on a mission to unlock the wonders of mathematics for his students! Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Universitas Pelita Harapan and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Universitas Indonesia, he brings over a decade of expertise to the table. Through his engaging lessons and innovative teaching methods, Pak Eri empowers his students to embrace mathematical challenges and become adept critical thinkers and problem-solvers.

Ms. Anne’s international upbringing in Thailand’s Grace Chiang-Mai has instilled in her a unique perspective that adds vibrancy to her teaching style. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Secondary Education and Mathematics, she boasts extensive experience in tutoring math and science for secondary levels, specializing in algebra and geometry. With a background in leading arts summer camps, Ms. Anne excels in fostering collaborative learning environments. Her ability to navigate cross-cultural interactions with sensitivity and care ensures that every student feels valued and supported. A standout achiever, Ms. Anne’s consistent presence on Wheaton College’s Dean’s List and receipt of a merit-based President Scholarship speak volumes about her dedication and excellence in education.

Meet Ibu Olin, an educator driven by a deep passion for language education, particularly in teaching Bahasa Indonesia. Since 2011, she has devoted herself to this noble pursuit, with four formative years at SDH before joining the esteemed faculty at SPH LV in 2015. As she approaches her milestone tenth year at the school, Ibu Olin remains steadfast in her commitment to creating a supportive learning environment where students can fully immerse themselves in the richness of the language and culture. Through her innovative and engaging teaching methods, coupled with personalized attention, she empowers her students to communicate confidently in Bahasa Indonesia, equipping them with invaluable skills for life.
