Fun Guitar & Rhythm (G1 – G2)
In this fun and interactive camp, young learners will be introduced to the basics of guitar playing, including chord strumming techniques, rhythm patterns, and simple melodies. They will learn popular children’s songs such as “Baby Shark” (week 1) & “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” (week 2), fostering a love for music and developing their musical skills in a playful environment.
Beginner Guitar (G3 – G6)
Students at the beginner level will dive into the fundamentals of guitar playing, covering essential techniques such as finger placement, basic chords, strumming patterns, and reading tablature. They will learn popular worship songs like “The Blessings” (week 1) and “10,000 Reasons” (week 2) by Elevation Worship, building a strong foundation in guitar playing and musical expression.
Lower Intermediate Guitar (G7 – G12)
Lower Intermediate-level Senior School students will expand their guitar skills with more advanced techniques, including fingerpicking, barre chords, chord progressions, and improvisation. They will explore a diverse range of songs spanning different genres, such as “10,000 Reasons” by Elevation Worship (week 1) and “You Belong with Me” by Taylor Swift (week 2) enhancing their musical versatility and creativity on the guitar.
Upper Intermediate Guitar (G10 – G12)
Upper Intermediate-level students will delve deeper into complex guitar techniques, including advanced fingerstyle, scales, modes, and advanced chord voicings. They will tackle challenging songs such as “Golden Hour” by JVKE (week 1) and “Star Wars Main Theme” (week 2), honing their technical proficiency, musical expression, and performance skills at an advanced level.
