Let’s make the world a better place! In this program, you will dive into the engineering design process to learn how to solve problems just like a real engineer. Whether tackling a challenge in your community or helping the environment, you’ll put your skills to the test by designing solutions to real-world problems. Then, you will take your Lego-building talents to the next level as you explore urban planning, sustainability, essential infrastructure, city design and more!
By the end of this program, you’ll build your very own Lego city masterpiece that blends creativity with an understanding of community needs. Let’s build, solve, and make an impact!

About the Instructor
Angie Kumah G1-G8 STEM Instructor
Angie is a pre-medicine student currently pursuing her bachelor’s in Biological Sciences at Dartmouth College. She is particularly passionate about advocating for underrepresented communities in the pursuit of equitable health care and interested in becoming an obstetrician-gynecologist. Angie has utilized her STEM background – including research experience on stellar evolution and tidal disruptions in astrophysics, and expertise in coding, mathematics, physics, engineering, and more – to tutor and teach students up through high school.
