SPH Kemang Village Student Secures Triple International Math Honors in AMO, SASMO, SIMOC 2025

Hojeong Kim, a Grade 12 student at SPH Kemang Village, has demonstrated world-class mathematical prowess by securing top honors in a series of highly competitive international competitions. Over the past academic year, Hojeong earned a Bronze Award at the American Mathematics Olympiad (AMO), followed by a prestigious Gold Award at the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO). These successes culminated in an invitation to the elite, invitation-only Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) 2025, where Hojeong once again secured a Gold Award, placing him among the top young mathematicians globally.
Organized by the Singapore International Math Contests Centre, these competitions are renowned for their rigorous standards, involving hundreds of thousands of participants from dozens of countries. Advancing to the SIMOC finals and achieving Gold requires not only exceptional computational skills but also advanced problem-solving strategies and logical deduction. As Hojeong nears the end of his journey at SPH, these accolades serve as a testament to his academic discipline and the high-level STEAM education fostered at SPH Kemang Village, preparing him for the complex challenges of the future.
