A Closer Look at the
SPH Way of Learning

In Kindergarten, learning begins with how children learn best; through joy, curiosity, and purposeful play. In the early years, play is intentionally guided to nurture the whole child: emotionally, socially, physically, cognitively, and spiritually. Whether children are exploring patterns through art, counting petals from God’s creation, or collaborating in imaginative play, every experience is thoughtfully designed to spark wonder, build skills, and deepen their understanding of the world around them—always grounded in God’s truth.

Supported by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, we deliver high-quality programs and provide specialist teachers who bring depth and expertise to every subject. Our Kindergarten learners build strong foundations in literacy through Jolly Phonics, Handwriting Without Tears, and Wonders; develop confident numeracy using Sensory Math and Math in Focus; and explore science with McGraw-Hill Inspire Science. Guided by passionate, well-qualified educators, our learning journey equips each child to grow with purpose, character, and readiness—preparing them for a smooth transition into the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and a lifelong love of learning.

Meet Our Alumni

At SPH, I didn’t just learn Math, Chemistry, or Physics. I learned how to learn. Going through the full IB journey from PYP to Diploma Programme helped me see education as a whole, not fragmented subjects. It’s really amazing that they really did understand the IB program deeply. That holistic approach shaped the way I think about the world and how I continue to grow.

SPH gave me a strong academic foundation that prepared me for real-world challenges. What made the biggest difference for me was how academics were balanced with Christian values, character, and discipline. That holistic education guided me through university, my master’s degree, and eventually into entrepreneurship. SPH’s influence is evident in every aspect of my life, and I am truly thankful that SPH has played a huge role in shaping me into who I am today.

When I first came to SPH Lippo Village, I struggled academically. My English was limited, and learning was a real challenge. However, supportive teachers helped me grow academically and personally, teaching me to understand meaning, not just memorize words. A pivotal moment was a conversation with Mr. Brian Cox during a G12 retreat. His message, "Just Give Up," initially puzzled me, but he explained that SPH's education emphasizes relying on Christ's strength, not our own. That lesson remains a cornerstone of my gratitude for SPH’s impact on my life.
