Sekolah Pelita Harapan

We are so excited to share with you that our Kindergarten is about to return with a new face this Academic Year!

Through the new Kindergarten learning center, SPH Pluit Village seeks to provide its young learners with a more diverse and hands-on learning experience. We also look forward to having our community grow through the opening of the new facility!

Our Kindergarten uses the play-based approach to learning throughout their first two years, from K1 (3-4 years) to K2 (4-5 years). This will prepare them for K3 (5-6 years), where they will start using the Cambridge Primary program.

Our learning approach integrates subjects through hands-on activities, involve all senses when learning a new concept, and allow learners to learn at their own pace with structured free-thinking and exploratory activities.

Learning Pathway

  • Pre-Kindy (2-3 Years Old)*

  • K1 (3-4 Years Old)

  • K2 (4-5 Years Old)

  • K3 (5-6 Years Old)

*Pre-Kindy class will be opened in the 23/24 Academic Year

“For my husband and I, choosing the right school for our children is one of our primary concerns as a family. When we searched for a school, we tried to find a Christian school because we believe faith is an essential element in learning, even more than academics, and we want our children to be raised and taught in a Christian way. Then, we also looked for a school that balances academics with hands-on, project-based learning. With these two criteria in mind, SPH Pluit Village came across as the complete package. The school is just what we’re looking for our children.

I know that the school has held a special place in our family because our children are always excited to go to school every day. They can grow with their peers, get close to their teachers, and have fun learning with them. I can see the apparent growth in my child’s character as they become more expressive in communicating their ideas when they excitedly share about the projects they’ve been doing in school. This indeed echoes how they enjoy learning at school! Also, we love the fact that SPH focuses on each child’s personal growth.

We’re so excited about this new Kindergarten Center because this is a special place dedicated to Kindergarten students. The center looks fun and engaging, and with this new center, we hope kids are having a lot of fun while learning!”
