One of our scholarship grantee alumni, Angeline (Class of 2023), shared about how the scholarship program has greatly influenced her academic journey.
“The scholarship that was given to me has encouraged me to believe in myself. The fact that SPH has trusted me with the scholarship motivates me during challenging moments that I am capable of pushing through hardships and thriving in my studies. Furthermore, the scholarship has also allowed me to focus on learning without financial burden. This fostered a sense of stability for me and my family, allowing me to engage and focus more on my studies,” said Angeline.

As Ms. Sofia, Senior School Associate Principal, emphasizes, students are encouraged to unlock their full potential by selecting subjects that align with their interests and aspirations, particularly in Grades 10 and 11. This tailored approach enables scholars to build upon their knowledge and skills, laying a solid foundation for their academic journey.
Transitioning from a national curriculum background to an international framework can pose challenges for students. However, SPH Lippo Cikarang is dedicated to facilitating a seamless adjustment. Through a combination of specialized support and immersive learning experiences, our teachers assist scholars in adjusting to our school’s international teaching and assessment methods. This holistic approach ensures that scholarship students not only adapt but also excel in their academic pursuits.
Furthermore, our school also recognizes the importance of nurturing leadership qualities among our scholarship students. By providing opportunities for scholarship students to take on leadership roles within the school community, such as in student councils and clubs, the institution fosters the development of essential skills like communication, teamwork, and decision-making.
“Being a scholarship student at SPH has taught and trained me important skills that are significant in the real world, such as public speaking, thinking critically, and, most importantly, teamwork. Having these skills is very useful as it helps you to have a good basic skill set that serves as your foundation for your future working etiquette,” said Deandra (Class of 2023), one of our scholarship grantee alumni.
